Hi all and welcome to my next post, my first time posting on the blog. I have had a miscarriage and I am in great emotional health so my miscarriage has been a pain so far. I am not exactly sure if this is something that should be happening, but I know it’s something I should be taking care of. I am currently trying to get pregnant before I have any period, so I hope this post helps!
My doctor has prescribed Nolvadex. This is the most prescribed drug for women and it’s been going on for 3 years now. It’s the only drug that I’ve taken for years without problems, and it’s been helping my period.
I have had my period for over 2 months. I have been having issues with my periods for the past 6 months, but it has helped a lot with my getting the cramps off after the period. I am now on Nolva and I think I can take the pill for a bit longer to see if it helps, but I have no idea how long the period will take. I am thinking it may take 1-2 weeks to start getting it in, but if not, I would rather not take it. I will post my results here after the 2 week break and hopefully this will help you figure out how long it’s going to take to start being able to get pregnant.

My endometrist told me to take this medicine, so I am hoping I can get pregnant soon. She is right that it’s a natural hormone for the womb and not some chemical. I know that it is for women, but I don’t have a complete picture as I have had no problems with period bleeding since I was a teenager. I was on Nolvadex for 4 years for the first 3, but that wasn’t working either and I’m hoping it will help a bit! I am still in recovery and have no idea if it will help the period.
I have been using it for 3 years and have had no problems, and I’ve tried some other treatments to help, but none of them have worked. My daughter was having a period in August when I went to see my endo and he told me to take the next day off, so I didn’t do it at the time but he said I should take it for another month or two until my period goes away. I am now at 4 weeks after the last dose and it’s been working. I am still hoping I can get pregnant but have no idea if it will help. I don’t have to take it at the moment. I’m hoping I can find out if it helps my period and see if it can help my symptoms. Thanks so much for all the advice ladies!!
Good luck!I had a miscarriage at 28 weeks in June 2013. I had not had periods in the last year or so. I was pregnant for just a few weeks before my miscarriage, and I didn’t have periods for a couple of weeks at the time.
I have been taking clomid and Nolva to stimulate ovulation for my daughter’s period. It was very difficult to get pregnant and as she was getting pregnant at 28 weeks of age she was trying to take it on her own. I think she was trying to take the medicine as a precaution but her period was already in the past and was going on for a few months before her period came. I am currently on Nolva for a week now and she was starting to get the cramps. I hope she passes on soon and that I will be able to get pregnant soon enough.
